Does my current Vitality status get carried forward to the next year?

Your Vitality points add up to reflect your Vitality status. You start with Bronze and improve to Silver, then to Gold and ultimately Platinum. You carry this status over to your next wellness year and insurance premium discount for the subsequent policy year is based on this status.

However, your points will reset to zeroat the start of next wellness membership year and you have to continue with your wellness activitiesto start earning points again.

For example: Raksha achieves Gold status in her first year. This status will be carried over to the second year and she will get premium discount applicable for Gold status. At the beginning of the second year, despite carrying over her Gold status, Raksha will start her Vitality points from zero. To maintain her Gold status through to the third year, she will need to continue doing wellness activities and accumulate sufficient Vitality points. If she fails to accumulate enough points, her status in the third year will be set according to the points she earned in the second year.

Each weekly target cycle runs from Monday through Sunday (00:00 IST on Monday to 23:59 IST on Sunday). This is referred to as the weekly target cycle. This means that you need to achieve your weekly points target by Sunday, 23:59 IST.

These Vitality points may not reflect right away, but as long as you have captured your points i.e. synced your device – before Sunday midnight (23:59 IST), your points will count towards that week’s target.

We allow up until the following Saturday midnight (23:59 IST) for the points you have earned by Sunday midnight the previous week to reflect. This period is referred to as the monitoring period.

In the event that points are awarded during the monitoring period and result in the target being achieved, the target will be deemed completed (i.e. we will backdate the points to reflect the date on which the activity was conducted).

If you activate the Weekly Challenge midweek, the weekly target will be set immediately. This provides you with lesser number of days to achieve your first week’s target. Please note that the first week’s target is not prorated.

However, from the following week, the next weekly target will start from the next Monday.
